This track Solarstorm has been another of mine which has been about two years in the making, purely because when I started it I was still learning a great deal about music production. As time went by and my skills improved, both from a production standpoint and a mixing and mastering standpoint, I kept revisiting the track, implementing techniques and process which I had learned to improve upon what I had previously done.
Solarstorm is at the point now where I am happy with the result and feel ready to release it to the world. Like other tracks of mine it's a blend of tech and uplifting Trance elements and I've used a funky bassline pattern for both the intro and outro sections to give it a bit more flavour than just an off-beat or rolling pattern throughout. I actually think the funky bassline has a 'Smooth Criminal' feel to - just a lot faster.
So here you go, my new track 'Solarstorm'. I hope you like it.
